This is the moment for District 1 to choose a new direction. This campaign is about the residents not political insiders or special interests. There comes a point when people have to say, “Enough is enough. We need change. Mareo Johnson brings independent leadership, accountability, experience, and a record of community service. A District 1 where investment, opportunity, public safety, small businesses, youth, and neighborhood concerns receive the attention they deserve.

When is enough, enough?

When is it time to stop accepting the same old politics and start demanding something different?

I believe that time is now.

This campaign for Tulsa City Council District 1 is not about Mareo Johnson.

It is about the people of District 1.

It is about the mother who wants her neighborhood to be safe.

The small-business owner who wants an opportunity to grow.

The young person who deserves a future right here in our community.

The taxpayer who wants accountability for every dollar spent.

And the resident who wants their voice heard—not just during election season, but all year long.

I've spent years serving this community, working with people, studying how our city invests taxpayer dollars, and serving on the City of Tulsa Sales Tax Overview Committee.

And after seeing how decisions are made, I've reached a conclusion:

District 1 doesn't just need another councilor. District 1 needs a new direction.
